Fusion 2018 - it's nearly here!
We're really excited to be joining with friends from Regions Beyond churches across the UK for the Fusion 2018 event, at Norfolk Showground from 26th to 29th May.
Fusion 2018 will include worship, teaching, fun, a huge street party and much more!
Steve Oliver, who leads Regions Beyond, has just sent us this video..
We are very keen that everyone at Emmanuel should have the opportunity to be part of Fusion. You can get a discount on entry by signing up to one of the serving teams. On top of that, the church will pay up to a maximum of £50 per adult, and the full price for children. To receive this refund, send a copy of your booking receipt or ticket to Jenny Booth, our Deacon for Finance.
To help us get our families and stuff to Norfolk, the church is providing a van, which will travel down in advance. More details will be announced nearer the time.
And once we're there, we'll have the blessing of a marquee, where we can gather to share community and food together. Cooking will not be allowed in the marquee, but it will be carpeted, so children can play. It will also protect us from adverse weather, should it come!

£9,960 Raised In International Sunday Offering!
A few weeks ago, during our International Sunday celebration, we took up a special offering as part of our worship.
The offering was taken for two reasons: partly as a thanksgiving offering for having been granted planning permission for The Emmanuel Centre, and partly to help a church in Pune, India with church planting and leadership development.
It was announced this morning that this offering raised an amazing £9,960! We are thankful both to God for his provision, and to all of you for your generosity in helping us to reach this sum.
We look forward to seeing how God uses this money now!
