Are you part of an Emmanuel Community?

Our Emmanuel Communities are small groups of individuals within our church, that meet together during the week to build community together.

They are all shapes and sizes. They might include prayer, Bible study, fellowship, food, fun, mission, or more! There are groups across the region, from Hartlepool to Chester-le-Street.

Sunday 28th January was Emmanuel Communities Sunday - a celebration of our Emmanuel Communities, and an invitation to everyone in the church to get involved in a Community.

In this video, Dan and Rachel Baker speak about the value of being in a Community:

And this video celebrates the life and variety of our Communities:

David's off to South Africa!

David Lawrence, a member of our church, has flown out to South Africa, where he is spending six months at LIV Village, a foster care village near Durban.

David is part of the LIV4Change programme, a discipleship school gap year scheme, and will be joined by 20 others from the UK.

For more information on LIV Village, click here - or watch this video

We're praying for David, and his family. And if you want to keep in touch with how he's doing, he's hoping to update his 'David LIVing it large' Facebook page.
