Does God heal today? Yes! Here's Sarah's story
“I’ve just come back from camping at Newday.
On the Wednesday I went over on my ankle and flared up and old injury which meant I struggled to walk, and on the Saturday two girls came and prayed for our servers group and they prayed for my ankle.
It didn’t work the first time so they prayed again later on in the afternoon and the pain was completely gone and I could walk again without a limp! God is amazing! ”
Ian will be travelling out to be with Steve Oliver as he hosts an international leaders discipleship week at his farm in Clarens.
“It will be a great opportunity to meet with God and with brothers in Regions Beyond from around the world. I am anticipating new friendships being made and old ones strengthened.”
Following that week he will be travelling to Cape Town, where he will be joined by Alan Bell, to see the work of the church in social action projects through the Sozo Foundation.
They will then be travelling back to Clarens for a week with the church where they will be preaching and training, as well as connecting more strongly with the church there. There will be an opportunity to pray for the trip at the Prayer Breakfast on Saturday 3rd September. Ian is leaving on Saturday 10th September.
On Friday 19th August, six young people and three adults from Emmanuel are off to China to work in a welfare centre for disabled and abandoned children.
