Father's Day

What dads do matters. Through our Compassion 4 Kids initiative, we're supporting families to adopt or foster. In County Durham alone 40 new adopters and more than 30 new foster carers are needed this year to find homes for vulnerable children.

June Ball goes with a bang!

A sold-out crowd enjoyed a great night of music, comedy and fun at the June Ball in aid of County Durham Foodbank.

There was music from the Emmanuel Party Band with Lynsey Holmes and Mary Hobson, accompanied by The Bicyclettes and The Bicyclettes Plus, comedy from Tom Bray and all in the safe hands of comperes Josh and Hannah Bunce.

Five baptised!

It was celebration time at church as we baptised five people - four of whom planned to take the plunge and a fifth who felt God call them to do so during the service.
