On Saturday 8th November, 50 women from Emmanuel met together for Inspired, a homegrown one-day conference for women at TDC.

The theme was Inspired to be like Jesus and how, no matter what our age or stage, we are all growing up in God, to become more like Jesus.
It was really good to see women from our own community stepping out and using their gifts to serve each other in teaching, worship leading, ministering through prayer and many other ways.
We heard from a variety of women about a variety of Godly Biblical women (and some men too!) and enjoyed times of worship, discussion, reflection and prayer - and a delicious lunch kindly prepared by Peter Sheahan for us.
The day was truly inspirational, as we fixed our eyes on Jesus and it was great to see God growing gifts and community amongst us. So a big thank you to all who took part in the day and shared their gifts with others.
Hampers appeal
We are supporting County Durham Foodbank's Christmas Hampers appeal to bring Christmas cheer to 300 people in food crisis.
If you'd like to make a donation, bring it along to one of our Sunday services by 29th November.
Gift Day
We are privileged to be involved in God's work of building His Kingdom at home and overseas.
On Sunday 9th November we held a Gift Day to raise money for:
- Our student work, which is growing fast
- Living out the Gospel across County Durham
- Developing facilities to accommodate our growing numbers on Sunday mornings
- Supporting work in India
