1-3pm Prophetic Outreach in Durham City.

5-7pm A ‘pay as you feel meal’ at TDC with profits going to NPSSM which a number in the church have been involved in.

7-9pm ‘Encounter – A night of Praise and Prophesy’. This will take place in TEC.

On the first Saturday of each month we gather together to pray into a range of issues, which may include local, global, pastoral or other matters.

We meet for breakfast at 9am, and beginning praying together at 9.30am.

We meet at The Durham Centre. Breakfast is provided.

We will be meeting on the morning of Good Friday to remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. 10-11.30am in TEC.

The next Burn gathering of extended worship will take place at Waddington Street URC, Durham, on Saturday 9th March from 4.00pm until late.

Meet at 2 pm at a choice of four locations:

Belmont Scrambles - meet Cheveley Walk entrance.

Carville High Street - meet Shell Garage coal tub area.

Gilesgate Moor - meet Belmont Community Centre car park.

Join us on Saturday 2nd March for 'Together 24', our second annual gathering of Regions Beyond churches in the north of the UK. Once again this will be hosted at The Emmanuel Centre.

This day is a chance to connect with those in our wider Regions Beyond family, worship and encounter God together, hear about and pray for what God is doing in our churches and receive teaching from the Bible.  

We are delighted to welcome both Fusi Mokoena from Dubai and Mark Jones from Worthing to speak at the event. 

The day starts at 10am and finishes at 3.30pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

The day will include a full separate programme for both secondary aged young people and for primary aged children. There will also be a parent-supervised crèche facility available.

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a brass band and carols singalong.

We’re very pleased to once again be welcoming back Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band for a carols concert at The Durham Centre on Sunday 10th December, 5-6pm. Join us for fun, songs and Christmas refreshments.

Entry is free. There will be a collection for a good cause.

Our Christmas Family Fun Day returns on Saturday 2nd December, with free Christmas fun for the whole family.

From a Christmas trail to inflatables; a rodeo reindeer to Christmas crafts; with Santa’s Grotto, refreshments, food crafts and face painting too. The remedy to all those expensive Christmas events - everything is free.

On Saturday 11th November we will be gathering for our annual prophetic conference ‘Growing in the Prophetic: Stepping Deeper’.

The day will run from 10am-4pm with coffee served from 9.30am.

We have received some key prophetic words as a church about how God is moving and preparing to move more in our midst. It is our desire that all are equipped to hear the voice of God personally and for building up the church so that we can fully engage with all God wants to do through us.

We will be spending the day in worship, ministry, teaching and will have opportunities to put prophecy into practice as we learn to hear the Holy Spirit with ever increasing sensitivity.

Lunch will be provided. Please book your free ticket here and let us know of any dietary requirements. The booking system will close at midnight on Monday 6th November to allow us to plan food.

We believe we get to know each other and build relationships and friendships best in small numbers.

Hence, every member of Emmanuel Church is encouraged to join a Community.

Although no two groups are the same, they are often five to 15 people who meet weekly or fortnightly in each other’s homes to share life, learn and pray together.
