Lisa Lavender

At Emmanuel Church, we like to give a warm welcome: whether you’ve been part of our community for years, or are visiting us for the first time.

In recent years, our Welcome team has been wonderfully led by Pam Bulman.

Pam has now decided to step aside from the role, and we are pleased to introduce Lisa Lavender as our new Deacon for Welcome.

Lisa will oversee our Stewardship, Refreshments and Car Parking teams.

New Pastoral Care Deacon

We are excited to welcome Stephen Jones as our new Deacon for Pastoral Care. 

Stephen was commissioned on Sunday 26th November. You can find out more about him, and our leadership team, here.

We thank Christine Knowles, who Stephen succeeds, for her service and devotion as Deacon. Christine was central to developing the pastoral care system we now have in place, and we wish her well as she starts married life and relocates to Scotland.

We look forward to what God wants to do through Stephen and his team.
