Great night of carols

We had a great time celebrating Christmas at our Charity Brass Band Concert!

There were carols from Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band, singalongs, games, mulled wince and mince pies... and lots of silly Christmas costumes!

Pick your favourite from these we snapped!

We also heard about the great work of Safe Families for Children and raised £740 for the charity.

For more Christmas fun, join us at The Durham Centre on Sunday 20th December at 10:30am for our Christmas Family Service.

Christmas at Emmanuel!

We've been getting into the Christmas spirit, with a free Christmas family fun day and carol services at Durham Town Hall and with Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band.

The Durham Centre was transformed as we hosted our fun day and more than 300 people came through the doors to ride the rodeo reindeer, make crafts, meet Santa, have their faces painted, do nerf warfare and reflect on the Christmas message.

New for us this year was our carol service at Durham Town Hall, which was well attended, with mulled wine and mince pies enjoyed by all.

And Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band led us in a fun-packed carol service back at TDC, with contributions from the church choir, Cre8 drama group and others.

Thanks to everyone who made these events such a success. And don't forget - our Christmas Family Service is Sunday 21st December at 10:30am at TDC.
