Join us as we gather to mark Jesus’ death (and resurrection!) on Good Friday: Friday 19th April.
We will have a one-hour service at The Durham Centre, starting at the earlier time of 10am.
This will be a reflective service providing an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus prior to the celebration of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. The service itself will be from 10am to 11am (with refreshments beforehand) and will comprise a time of worship, breaking bread and some reflective activities (which will be child and adult friendly).
Please note: There will not be any separate children or youth provision.
Later on Good Friday, Durham Churches Together will hold a Good Friday Witness. Gather at St Nicholas’ Church, Market Place, at 11.45am for the Walk of Witness from 12pm to 12.45pm. Everyone is welcome.
